※2026年4月10日にドック型輸送揚陸艦ジョン P. マーサ John P. Murtha（LPD-26）は、金曜日の午後遅くにポイント・ロマの南西約30浬の地点にてオリオン宇宙カプセルからNASAの宇宙飛行士4名を回収した

※元米海軍戦闘機パイロット2名が、2026年4月1日にNASAケネディ宇宙センター NASA's Kennedy Space CenterからアルテミスIIミッション Artemis II missionで打ち上げられ、50年以上ぶりの有人月周回軌道に搭乗している

※オリオンは、アルテミスI月周回ミッション Artemis I lunar orbit missionの一部として2022年11月16日に宇宙へ打ち上げられた無人カプセルである。NASAによると、オリオンは宇宙滞在中、1,300,000マイルを移動した。アメリカ海軍ドック型輸送揚陸艦ポートランド Portland（LPD-27）の乗組員チームは、25日間の月周回旅行を終え、2022年12月11日に太平洋に着水したオリオン宇宙カプセルを回収した
